The Same Gospel... By grace through grace
Today on the Daily Nugget, Mike, I focus on Galatians 2:1–9 and the powerful truth that the gospel of Jesus Christ changes our relationship to both the Law and the Lord. Paul’s gospel was examined by the apostles in Jerusalem and found to be the very same message they preached—a gospel of grace through faith, not works of the Law. Because of Christ, we no longer seek acceptance with God through rule-keeping and performance. Instead, we come to Him through faith, resting in what Jesus has accomplished for us. The gospel frees us from the burden of trying to earn God's favor and invites us into a living relationship with the Lord, where obedience flows from love, gratitude, and the transforming work of His Spirit.
