Revelation with a captial "R"
Today on the Daily Nugget, Mike, we’re looking at Galatians 1:11–18, where Paul makes it clear that the gospel he preached didn’t come from man but through a direct revelation of Jesus Christ, and after his conversion he spent about three years being taught by the Lord before being influenced by others—showing us that what he received was Revelation with a capital “R,” authoritative and meant for the Church, which we now have in Scripture; while we don’t receive that same kind of Scripture-forming revelation today, we do experience lowercase revelation, where God speaks personally to us through His Word and Spirit—bringing truth to life, convicting, guiding, and transforming us—not adding to Scripture, but pressing it deeply into our hearts and everyday lives.
