When Sin is Exposed
Today on the Daily Nugget, Mike focuses on 2 Samuel 12 and Nathan's courageous confrontation of David over his sin. David had tried to conceal what he had done, but he could not hide anything from God, who sees everything. When Nathan declared, "You are the man!" David finally acknowledged his sin rather than making excuses or shifting blame. There is something powerful about recognizing that God already knows everything about us, including our darkest failures, and choosing to come clean before Him. We cannot undo our sin or escape God's eyes, but we can experience His amazing grace when we confess, repent, and turn back to Him.
