Running the good race... may not be what you think...
Today on the Daily Nugget, Mike reflects on Galatians 5:7–12, where Paul reminds us that the Christian life is a race worth running—but only when it is centered on the gospel and a growing relationship with Jesus Christ rather than ourselves or a relationship with the law. Anything that shifts our focus from Christ to our own performance hinders our spiritual progress, but the gospel keeps us grounded in God's grace, empowers us to walk in freedom, and enables us to persevere with joy as we keep our eyes fixed on the One who has already won the victory for us.
