The vile part of humanity... it is ugly and in all of us!
Today on the Daily Nugget, Mike continues through Galatians 5:19–21, examining the works of the flesh and how they reveal the false promises of a life apart from God. Paul highlights three broad categories of sin: the deceitfulness of worldly pleasures, the temptation to find meaning and peace through false worship and counterfeit escapes such as drugs, and the destructive attitudes and actions that create conflict, division, and disunity within the body of Christ. While the flesh promises satisfaction, it always leaves us empty and separated from God and others. The gospel, however, leads us to lasting joy, true peace, and the unity that comes from walking with Christ by His Spirit.
