Do you really know God?

Today on the Daily Nugget, Mike explores Galatians 4:8–11 and the danger of replacing a relationship with God with religious performance. Paul is astonished that the Galatians, who had come to know God and experience His grace, were turning back to a system of rules and observances as though their standing with God depended on them. The heart of the Christian life is not law-keeping but knowing God and being known by Him. When rules, rituals, and performance become our focus, they can subtly take God's place in our lives. Join us as we discover the freedom, joy, and intimacy that come from centering our lives on a relationship with God rather than trying to earn His favor through religious effort.
